Daleza Fregoso update: Kidnapper charged with murder of victim’s mother; Los Angeles Amber Alert still in effect
A man is wanted on suspicion of kidnapping a four-year-old girl. Dalesa FregosoPolice said Tuesday he was a person of interest in the violent death of the girl’s mother. Dalesa is believed to be in arlington heights Ruben Fregoso’s area, 44.
Dalesa and Reuben’s relationship was not immediately disclosed. one AMBER ALERT Still valid.
What we know so far
The Los Angeles Police Department said officers were called to the 2600 block of South Alsace Avenue in the West Adams neighborhood around 12:30 a.m. Monday for a welfare check.

“Upon arrival, officers found an adult female deceased inside the residence,” police said, according to NewsNation. “Preliminary investigation indicates the victim died of violence.”
The victim’s husband, Reuben, was identified as a person of interest in the investigation.
Later that day, the California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert for Dalesa on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department. The alert said Dalesa and Reuben were last seen around 4 a.m. Sunday in the area of Alsace Avenue and Ferndale Street in Los Angeles.
It is believed that the two were traveling in a white 2019 Land Rover Discovery SUV with the california License plate number 9DAW715. However, the CHP reported around 10:30 p.m. Monday that the vehicle had been found.
The suspect and child are still missing. The CHP did not say where the vehicle was found.
Deleza is described as 3 feet tall. She has black hair, brown eyes, and weighs 45 pounds.
Reuben is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
