US President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump was allegedly assassinated by a member trained by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in a revenge plot linked to the 2020 killing of Iran’s top military commander Qasem Soleimani, the New York Post reported.According to reports, the recently arrested 32-year-old suspect Mohammed Bakr Saad Daoud Saadi allegedly “swore” to kill Ivanka Trump and even found blueprints of her Florida residence. The Iraqi national was said to be seeking revenge for a U.S. drone strike in Baghdad six years ago that killed Soleimani, the powerful commander of Iran’s elite Quds Force.“After Kassem was killed, he [Al-Saadi] “We go around telling people, ‘We need to kill Ivanka in order to burn down Trump’s house, just like he burned down our house,'” Entifad Kambar, a former deputy military attache at the Iraqi embassy in Washington, told the New York Post. The New York Post further reported that Saadi shared a map image on X showing the area in Florida where Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner own a $24 million home.Along with the photo, he allegedly posted a chilling message in Arabic threatening Americans.“I say to Americans, look at this photo and know that neither your palace nor the Secret Service will protect you. We are currently in the surveillance and analysis phase. I tell you, our revenge is only a matter of time,” the translated message read.Saadi was arrested in Türkiye on May 15 and later extradited to the United States. The U.S. Department of Justice charged him with 18 attacks and attempted attacks in Europe and the United States.U.S. authorities claim he was involved in a number of attacks against American and Jewish venues, including the firebombing of the Bank of New York Mellon building in Amsterdam in March, the April stabbing of two Jewish victims in London and a shooting near the U.S. consulate building in Toronto.Federal investigators also accuse him of planning or coordinating attacks against Jewish institutions, including a synagogue bombing in Liege, Belgium, and an arson attack on a temple in Rotterdam.Saadi is reportedly believed to have ties to Kataib Hezbollah and Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.Elizabeth Tsurkov, a senior fellow at the Washington, D.C.-based New Lines Institute, was kidnapped in Baghdad in 2023 and later released. She told the New York Post that Saadi maintained close ties with Iranian military networks. He claimed that Saadi was raised in Baghdad primarily by an Iraqi mother and then sent to Tehran to undergo training with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Investigators said the suspect remained active on social media despite his alleged deep involvement in extremist activities.Court documents reportedly include photos posted by Saadi showing him reviewing maps and operating equipment with Soleimani at what appears to be a military facility.“I will be off social media and turning off all cell phones until America’s enemies are defeated…victorious or martyrdom,” Saadi allegedly wrote in a social media post months after Soleimani’s killing.Ivanka Trump converted to Orthodox Judaism before marrying Jared Kushner in 2009. Saadi is currently being held in solitary confinement at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
