Several newly unearthed photos on social media are raising questions about the missing 84-year-old mother of Savannah Guthrie, Nancy Guthrie. An X user shared photos they found while searching Google Earth and wondered if they were photos of Nancy in November 2025.
The photos show a woman walking in Tucson, Arizona, where Nancy lives.
“Is this #NancyGuthrie walking? In front of 5855 N Camino Escalante, November 2025,” the user wrote on the X. “I found this while searching on Google Earth.”
This user added It’s about “200m/218yrd” from Nancy’s home to that location.
user further wrote“, “I heard from interviews with neighbors that Nancy would walk around the neighborhood and then drive her Subaru to CVS. But Savannah said she could barely walk to the mailbox most days because she was in so much pain. But yes, I’ve seen her on crutches and that’s a fact. But it does look a lot like her.
Others weighed in in the comments section, with some saying the woman in the photo does look a lot like Nancy.
“It does look a lot like her. Maybe she’s on some strong painkillers or anti-inflammatory drugs, or had an ESI (epidural steroid injection) procedure in her back to relieve the pain she was experiencing. When I could barely walk due to back pain, I had the surgery and it worked for me within a day. Maybe she’s been doing PT and gained more strength to walk short distances without assistive devices? I’m just throwing out the possibilities if this is indeed her,” one user commented. “My 93-year-old mom uses a walker sometimes and a cane other times and doesn’t need any help at any time. It depends on a lot of factors for her. All said about Nancy could be true,” said another.
“Yes… her profile! Even though it’s blurry. She looks like her when she stands too!” one user wrote.
However, some deny that the woman in the photo could be Nancy.
“Taller and skinnier than Nancy,” one user wrote, while another said, “I don’t think so. Nancy is heavier.”
