You can only do so much from sitting in the dugout. But you can make a difference by being in the middle and Rohit Sharma has done just that. You need that base to chase so many runs and he not only laid the base but also built several floors on top, leaving little for others to do,” Harbhajan told JioStar.Harbhajan praised Rohit’s innings and said it would have been better if he had completed a century. He also believes that Mumbai Indians suffered in Rohit’s absence, especially during their losing streak at the beginning of the season.“It would have been better if he could have scored a hundred, but for the time he was there, he played very well,” he added.“I hope his injury heals soon; who knows, they might win a game or two during the losing streak and still be alive in the game,” he noted.Although it has been a difficult season, Harbhajan believes that if Mumbai continues to win and other results go in their favour, their chances of making it to the playoffs remain slim.“If they win every game from here and get 14 points, they’ll give themselves a chance. Who knows, if other teams start losing, the net run rate could be 14 points, anything can happen,” he said.
