Railways launches 100th Vande Bharat train
New Delhi: indian railways The 100th Vande Bharat train rolled out of the Hyundai Coach Factory (MCF) in Raebareli on Saturday, marking a major milestone in a journey that began in 2018 with just two such trains.Before the 16-car train is put into regular passenger service, the train will undergo oscillation tests to verify ride quality, safety parameters and dynamic performance.The production of these trains started at Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai and has been extended to Railway Coach Factory (RCF) in Kapurthala and MCF in Raebareli.The MCF-manufactured train sets incorporate significant engineering and performance enhancements aimed at improving reliability and safety, the national transporter said in an official release.
