Gujarat Titans batsman Sai Sudharsan broke the IPL record by scoring a century against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2026 on Friday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.With Sudharsan’s hundred goals, RCB became the team that conceded the most goals in the history of IPL.Individuals with the most goals conceded by an IPL team:

Sudarsan returned to form with a 57-ball century, his third in the IPL and his first of the 2026 season. Opening the innings with captain Shubman Gill, he built a stand of 128 for the first wicket after RCB elected to bowl first.His innings laid a solid foundation for Gujarat to score a big score.Sudharsan also broke the IPL record on Friday by becoming the fastest batsman to complete 2,000 runs in the IPL tournament.The GT opener reached the milestone in just 47 innings, surpassing Chris Gayle, who scored 2,000 IPL points in 48 innings.Sudharsan came into the match needing 72 runs to break the record. With this knock, his total score exceeded 2,000 points.Batting first, Gujarat Titans posted 205/5 in 20 overs while the RCB bowlers managed to take better control of the situation in the death overs after Sudarsan’s hundred.Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Rajat Patidar won the toss and was selected to play against Gujarat Titans in the IPL match here on Friday.England batsman Jacob Bethell, who replaces the injured Phil Salt in the only change to the RCB line-up, will play his first match of the season.The Shubman Gil-led GT made a few changes, handing a debut to Windies bowling all-rounder Jason Holder, while Manav Suthar also returned to the starting XI.
