Google has lowered the price of its Pixel 9a smartphone in India, amid reports that the company may launch the Pixel 10a soon. The revised rates have started appearing on major online shopping platforms, which could give buyers a lower barrier to entry into Google’s mid-range smartphone lineup.
The company has yet to make a public statement about the price reduction. However, an updated listing on a leading retail website confirms that both storage variants are now on sale at reduced prices. Google often adjusts prices on existing models before launching new devices, a move that helps maintain sales momentum and manage inventory in the market.

Google Pixel 9a is priced at Rs. The 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 49,999, while the 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 49,999. The 256GB option costs 54,999. After the recent revision, the 128GB model is now priced at Rs. 39,999 while the 256GB variant is priced at Rs 39,999. 44,999. This marks a uniform price cut of Rs. 10,000 for both models.
The updated pricing is currently available on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart and Croma, as well as other retail channels across the country. Buyers can purchase the device at the revised price while supplies last.

Google Pixel 9a: Key specs and features
Google Pixel 9a comes with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display that supports 120Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen has a peak brightness of up to 2,700 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
