Shirley recently said on Fox News that an alleged plot to assassinate him was imminent.

‘The danger is real’

“This has happened several times, so for me it’s almost dangerous to stay in a hotel because you’re going to be doxxed very quickly and people will know where you are. You’re going to get death threats from people all the time. Scammers are pissed off,” he explained.

Shirley added, “You get all these death threats. You get doxxed. But most of the public is very grateful. When I go out in public, a lot of people say thank you to me. It’s actually funny. In Sacramento, when I first was there, a lot of people were saying thank you. But the people inside [legislative] Inside the building, they all hated me because I exposed their corruption. But people love me. “
