New Delhi: Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Stalin made a surprise appearance on friday chennai metroHe was traveling to DMS station from Chennai Central station as part of his campaigning ahead of the assembly polls.during the journey, DMK The sheikh turned a routine subway ride into a public outreach event by interacting with passengers, talking to daily commuters and seeking support for his party.

“A journey full of human touch”

Sharing a video of his ride on the X, Stalin described the experience as “an emotionally charged journey” while recalling his role in formulating the metro project during his tenure as deputy prime minister.He said he had traveled to Japan to seek JICA’s financial support for the project, highlighting that the first phase – connecting Wimco Nagar to the airport and key routes such as Central and St Thomas Mount – had already attracted millions of journeys.Stalin added that the second phase of the expansion is progressing at a fast pace and promised that once completed, Chennai will become one of the longest metro-connected cities in India. “Let our dream of developing Chennai succeed,” he said.In an earlier post, he noted that he interacted with morning commuters before heading to other campaign venues and called for votes for the DMK-led alliance.

Activities heat up ahead of schedule Vote on April 23rd

Stalin, who hails from Korattur constituency, has intensified his grassroots campaign in recent days. Earlier this week, he went on a morning walk in Sirkaj to interact with residents, drink tea at a local shop and seek support.Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Minister Udayanidhi Stalin Campaigning in Triplican constituency in Chennai.The Tamil Nadu assembly elections will be held in one phase on April 23, with counting of votes scheduled for May 4. The main competition is between the DMK-led alliance and the NDA group-led alliance. Artificial Intelligence ADMK and bjpand the addition of actor-turned-politician Vijay is expected to add a third dimension to the campaign.
