Dubai Police has launched a new cycling program that lets residents take to the track alongside police officers in a structured, fitness-focused environment. The programme, called ‘Walking with a Cop’, started on Wednesday at the Dubai Autodrome in Dubai Sports City and will continue on a weekly basis until April. These classes provide a controlled environment where participants can ride safely while taking part in community-led activities. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to encourage healthier habits and promote an active lifestyle through organized events. It also creates an informal space for residents to interact with police personnel outside of their daily interactions. A key feature of the program is the participation of the Dubai Police professional cycling team. Participants can ride alongside trained cyclists, observe their techniques and interact directly with them, adding a practical dimension to the experience. By combining fitness with community engagement, the initiative is expected to encourage regular participation while strengthening connections between residents and law enforcement.
