Trump said the United States had received a 10-point proposal from Iran, which he described as a viable basis for further negotiations. Trump also said in the post that almost all past points of contention between the United States and Iran have been agreed upon. He added that two weeks would allow the agreement to be finalized.
The president laid out changing goals and timelines for the war and reiterated his belief that Washington’s goals have been achieved.
