The incident was the fourth time the Bushehr site has been targeted since the conflict began, with shells reportedly falling in the surrounding area earlier this month.The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that Iran had informed it that a projectile had struck near a nuclear power plant. An entity protecting the site was killed by projectile fragments, while a building was damaged by shock waves and debris, the agency said in a post on“No increase in radiation levels has been reported,” the IAEA said.Iranian authorities reiterated that the attack did not affect the plant’s core infrastructure and stressed that operations at the Bushehr plant had not been affected despite repeated incidents nearby.
