The Israeli military released the latest details of its ongoing “Operation Lion’s Roar” against Iran, saying it had conducted hundreds of sorties and thousands of attacks on Iranian-related targets. It claimed to have eliminated 40 senior Iranian officials in “just 40 seconds.”According to the military, more than 800 attack sorties have been carried out so far, and nearly 10,000 air strikes have hit nearly 4,000 targets. Approximately 16,000 rounds of ammunition were also used in the operation.The military claimed that more than 2,000 soldiers and commanders linked to Iran were killed in the operation. An Israeli container ship, the Express Halfong, was reportedly attacked by a ballistic missile in the middle of the Persian Gulf.In another coordinated strike, a U.S. Marines hideout off the coast of the United Arab Emirates was struck by an explosive drone.
