93-year-old American woman who spent time in India shares her secret to a long, happy life: “Absolutely not…”
In a world obsessed with anti-aging trends, 93-year-old Sushumna is proving that true longevity comes from within. Sushumna, a Bay Area native who found a second home in India more than two decades ago, is a testament to the power of simplicity in her daily life. Whether she’s riding her bike down the street or sharing wisdom with friends, her life is one of mobility, self-sufficiency and an almost complete absence of major medical issues. Kamel Jaber recently highlighted her journey, noting that her radiant health stems from decades of mindful eating, exercise and “jokingly” avoiding drugs. Her story resonated with social media users, who praised her simple life.
“This is Sushumna. She is 93 years old,” founder Kamel Jaber wrote. He said Sushumna, despite being over ninety years old, was still completely “fluid and self-sufficient.” She prefers to ride her bike everywhere.
He explained that she didn’t have any major health issues other than arthritis. He went on to say that she was “full of positivity, faith and joy (one of my favorite people in the world)”.
Sushumna is a Bay Area native who now divides her time between California and a spiritual community in California. tamil naduwhere she spends a large portion of every year. She has been a committed member of the community since 2001, transitioning to this lifestyle after a successful career as a sales manager for a large company.
Jaber explained that she attributes her health to eating small amounts of whole foods, exercising mindfully, connecting with friends, and living by the teachings of her faith. “Jokingly speaking, there were no drugs in the past few decades,” the founder added.
“She has a great vibe and has a lot of wisdom to share. The answers to health are much simpler than we think.”
