Iran says there is ‘no communication’ with US, Israel

In an interview with NBC News, Araghchi mentioned that Iran’s goal is to U.S. military facilities in the Middle East rather than attacking “Americans on their soil.” However, Iran’s foreign minister stressed that Iran is keen to de-escalate the situation and is ready to engage in dialogue after the US-Israeli attacks cease.

“There is no contact now,” he said.

“But if American Want to talk to us. They know how to contact me. We are certainly interested in de-escalation… This is a war the United States chose and they have to pay the price. But as far as we are concerned, we don’t want war,” Araghchi continued.

Iran defends revenge attacks

Emphasizing that U.S. forces are targeting Iranians, the Iranian minister told NBC News, “We are attacking U.S. bases, military installations and installations in the region purely as an act of self-defense.”

“We are not the ones who initiated this aggression,” he stressed. “It was the United States and Israel that launched this aggression. So there are no limits to our self-defense, but once the aggression stops, we will also stop self-defense.”
