Why anchor Collarbone’s close allies are parting ways with him. health problems arise

A 20-year-old influencer who built a massive online following through “looksmaxxing” – a subculture focused on extreme methods to enhance one’s appearance – is facing a serious health and career collapse. On April 14, 2026, Braden Peters (commonly known as “Clavicle” online) was hospitalized after an alleged overdose during a Kick live broadcast. Just days after his hospitalization, Collarbone’s publicist announced that he would no longer be working with him, citing concerns that Brayden wasn’t taking his health seriously.

Live event

While Collarbone was live on Kick, the stream was cut short with two other influencers present. During the live broadcast, the 20-year-old repeatedly stated that he was in poor condition and eventually passed out in front of the camera. Video subsequently circulated on X showed him being dragged to a car. According to The Hollywood Reporter, an ambulance arrived at the scene and Peters was taken to the hospital. On Wednesday, April 15, Peters made his first public appearance since the incident, posting a photo of himself with visible facial injuries on X and confirming that he was on life support.

PR Mitchell Jackson splits

Publicist Mitchell Jackson, who first confirmed the news to People, said on April 16 that he was no longer working with Peters, saying the anchor was not taking his health condition seriously. A source told People, “Mitchell resigned because Brayden wouldn’t take his health seriously. Brayden thought he was invincible, but no one is invincible.” According to the New York Times, Jackson told the outlet via DNYUZ that he had given Peters an ultimatum, saying he would only resume representing him if Peters agreed to seek addiction treatment. “If he wants to get better, I’m happy to spend as much time as possible getting him the help he needs,” Jackson said, further adding, “I’m doing this for his health. Adults around the world are begging Brayden to take this seriously.” Jackson is known for his handling of controversial public figures.

Peters pledges to quit drugs

However, Peters appeared on another Kick live broadcast the same day after being released from the hospital, telling viewers he was fine and vowed to never use drugs again, promising it would be permanent. According to The Hollywood Reporter , Peters was also spotted attending a club opening that night — a development that further raised concerns about his health among viewers and industry observers.

controversial trends

Overdoses aren’t Peters’ only controversy. In the weeks leading up to his hospitalization, he was involved in a number of high-profile incidents. During an interview with Australia’s 60 Minutes, he walked out mid-conversation and was later arrested in Florida on misdemeanor assault charges. Additionally, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is reportedly investigating a video he took that appeared to show him shooting an alligator. According to DNYUZ, Peters shot to fame almost overnight in early 2026 through short videos that went viral on TikTok, Instagram and X, as well as appearances on podcasts featuring right-wing and manophilia figures.
