“Tonight, Pennsylvania State Police Corporal Tim O’Connor died in the line of duty. Our deepest condolences go out to Corporal O’Connor’s family, friends, loved ones, and his colleagues in the Pennsylvania State Police. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this tragic loss,” the Facebook post read.

“As stated in tonight’s press conference, Pennsylvania State Police and Chester County detectives are conducting a joint investigation into the circumstances of this tragic incident,” it added.
