As the teens tried to run away, Hughes walked out of the home and ran to the car. He tripped, fell and was run over by a car driven by Wallace. They stopped to provide first aid to Jason Hughes until emergency crews arrived. But it wasn’t enough, and Hughes died Friday at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
