Social media users and commentators slammed headlines focusing on Kay Trump, calling them “irresponsible” and “unnecessary,” especially considering she was not involved in the incident.

Social media users believe the reports reflect a broader trend of reporting sensational stories by involving high-profile family members, even if they have no connection to the incident.

Vanessa Trump shares update on Woods’ DUI arrest

Vanessa Trump took to social media to share a photo of Kay Trump smiling at the prestigious tennis tournament with young professional golfers Ellen Kournikova and Jason Stacey, who coaches the world’s best tennis singles star Aryna Sabalenka.

Additionally, multiple news reports confirmed that Kay Trump was competing in the Miami Open in Florida when Woods crashed. She has been spotted interacting with players and spectators, including showing support for tennis star Aryna Sabalenka during the tournament.

On Friday, she shared a photo of herself and Sabalenka on her Story, captioning it: “So much fun watching @arynasabalenka.”
