Where was Jesse Pierce’s husband Mike Hinrichs during the fire incident?

Mike Hinrichs passed away and is survived by Jessi and her children. After Jesse’s death, her colleagues, followers and supporters formed a to fund me Page to pay for funeral expenses and support Hinrich. “They leave behind Mike, husband to Jesse and loving father of their children, who is now going through an unimaginably difficult time. We are raising funds to cover funeral costs and provide financial support to the family during this sad time,” the page reads.

According to the Daily Mail, Hinrichs was out working when the fire occurred.

Jesse and Mike’s Married Life

In addition to his hockey coverage, Pierce has been recognized for his honest insights into married life. She often tells stories about her husband to give her followers an insight into their relationship.

In a 2022 social media post, she wrote: “Today I am grateful that a husband will be driving to Wisconsin where the liquor stores are still open because we forgot earlier this week 🤦🏼‍♀️Happy Thanksgiving ladies and gentlemen!”

Last year, she shared a post about him catching her watching the movie “Wonder.” She wrote: “Overheard on a conference call with my husband: ‘Are you watching the game? ‘No, my wife is just watching Miracle for the millionth time.'”

The NHL announced the death of Pierce, 37, and her three children — Hudson, Kayden and Avery — in a heartbreaking statement on Sunday.

“The entire NHL family sends our prayers and deepest condolences to the Pierce family regarding the passing of Jesse Pierce and her three children,” the NHL said.

“Jess loves our game and has been a valued member of the NHL.com team for ten years. She will be greatly missed.”
