New Delhi: Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee She said on Saturday she would launch “legal action” against the interior minister Amit Shah Because of his “violent remarks” TMC Worker.Addressing a rally in Hooghly, she said: “We will initiate legal action against Amit Shah for his violent remarks. As interior minister, he cannot make such comments. “Earlier, Amit Shah claimed that voters in West Bengal would “respond to bombs and bullets with votes” and bring the BJP to power in the assembly elections.
“TMC goons will no longer be able to terrorize the people of Bengal with bomb blasts. The people of Bengal will respond to bombs with votes and fear with trust,” Shah said while addressing a rally in Birbhum district.Shah’s rhetoric was more pointed, saying: “Let the people bid farewell to the Mamata government. bjp He will then take up the task of turning criminal syndicates and cash-cutting promoters upside down to make them righteous,” alleging deep-rooted corruption and “mafia rule” under the TMC rule.He also issued a warning before the polls, saying “I advise TMC goons to stay home on April 23…otherwise we will pick them up one by one on May 4 and throw them in jail” while claiming that the BJP workers faced chronic violence under the current regime.Banerjee’s response was in response to Shah’s “upside down” warning to TMC workers after the polls, claiming that the BJP’s “tough approach” would not resonate with Bengal voters.“What kind of language is the home minister using? It is unacceptable to say that you will hang people upside down after the elections. With this mentality, you will never win Bengal – ever!” she said.Voting in the first phase of the assembly elections concluded at 6 pm on Thursday with a significant increase in voter turnout at 91.78 per cent in West Bengal, according to the Election Commission. The second phase of voting will be held on April 29, with vote counting scheduled for May 4.
