What happened to Birkdale Village? Shooting in Huntersville, NC; video shows heavy police presence

“Is it true that there was a shooting in Birkdale, just outside northern Italy tonight? I’ve heard rumors, can anyone confirm this?” one person said ask on Facebook. On X day, people also flocked to see what was happening in this popular destination.

However, it appears that no shooting occurred, but someone entered with a gun gun This sparked fear.

“My wife and I were driving home after running away from Birkdale with customers who thought it was a gunshot (it turned out to be a gun being pulled, not being fired) and we saw this deer on the side of the road. Another person commented on the news producer’s post saying “No shooting.” The Huntersville Police Department has not officially commented on the incident.

“During a family birthday celebration in Birkdale tonight this man walked into the restaurant with a gun. People were running everywhere and hiding under tables. The place was packed with families and prom goers. What happened to our once great city???,” they commented.

Others also reacted to the events there. “OMG!! We can’t go anywhere!!” one person exclaimed in the comments, while another commented “OMG.” One person expressed concern, saying “Glad you’re okay.”
