‘We feel uncomfortable’: Kangana Ranaut calls Rahul Gandhi ‘Tapori’

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kangana Ranaut A call was made to the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday Rahul Gandhi a “tapori” and claimed the congresswoman felt “uncomfortable” around him.“We women feel very uncomfortable seeing them because they are like street thugs, talking rudely to anyone, saying things like ‘hey you, do this’ in a rude, disrespectful way,” Kangana told news agency IANS.Further, she said Rahul Gandhi should look at the behavior and conduct of his sister, Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, “which is very good.”“It is good that he should look at his sister’s behavior and behavior. Rahul Gandhi himself is a disgrace,” she added.A day ago, several retired bureaucrats and senior lawyers wrote an open letter demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi for an incident in which he had tea and biscuits at the Makkaduwa entrance of Parliament while protesting against the country’s energy crisis due to the Middle East conflict. The signatories, led by former Jammu and Kashmir Attorney General SP Vaid, said the March 12 incident was “deeply worrying” and reflected a “conscious disregard for parliamentary authority”.On March 12, Rahul Gandhi was seen sharing tea and snacks with colleagues during a protest at the Makadeva entrance of Parliament.SP Vaid said Rahul Gandhi’s behavior in Parliament was not up to the standards of an Opposition leader and showed a “sense of entitlement and arrogance”.“84 ex-bureaucrats, 116 ex-servicemen and ex-lawyers have issued this letter to the public stating that Rahul Gandhi’s conduct in Parliament did not make him the Leader of Opposition, a very responsible position,” Vaid said.“His behavior shows a sense of entitlement and arrogance. He is obsessed with drama; he sits on the steps of Parliament and drinks tea amid slogans. I don’t think Rahul Gandhi understands the importance of the LoP post,” he added.
