wayne county Officials issued an emergency alert to residents asking them to stay indoors, lock their doors and keep their lights on due to “recent incidents.” Meanwhile, Sevier County Emergency Management released the first details of a “suspicious death.” Meanwhile, three women were found dead in two separate locations in Wayne County on Wednesday, sparking a manhunt, local media quoted police officials as saying.
Utah-based KSL.com reports that the Utah Department of Public Safety received information that at least two women were found dead on a hiking trail. A third person was found dead at home. Their names have not yet been released. We don’t know if their deaths are related.

“As the investigation is ongoing and the suspect is at large, law enforcement urges residents of Tory and the surrounding area to take extra precautions such as locking their doors, staying home or with others, and remaining alert to their surroundings. Please report any suspicious activity to 911,” the Department of Public Safety said.
Meanwhile, the Sevier County Emergency Management Team said they are searching for a 2022 white Subaru Outback that may be involved in a suspicious death in Wayne County. Subaru’s license plate number is U560YF.
“If you have seen this vehicle within the past 24 hours, please contact dispatch at 435-896-6471,” the emergency management team posted on social media.
“Please report any alarm-causing situations to the Wayne County Dispatch Hotline at 1-800-356-8757,” the Sheriff’s Office added.

The suspect’s identity has not been revealed.
