Vivo is expected to launch its premium flagships Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE in India soon. Although the company has not officially confirmed the launch date of these phones in India, multiple leaks and tipster reports suggest that these smartphones may debut in the country in early May 2026.
According to a post by tipster Yogesh Brar on X, the Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE are expected to be launched in India on May 7 and may go on sale on May 14. According to multiple publications, this information suggests that Vivo is pursuing a two-shot strategy for its premium and compact flagship smartphones.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is a high-end offering from the brand with a strong focus on camera performance. The smartphone has been launched in China with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a large 6.82-inch display, and an advanced camera system co-designed with Zeiss.
The Vivo X300 FE, on the other hand, is shaping up to be a compact flagship offering premium features at a relatively low price. The smartphone is expected to be launched in India with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, compact 6.31-inch AMOLED display and 6500 mAh battery.
The smartphone is expected to include a telephoto extender accessory to enhance the zoom capabilities. If these smartphones are eventually launched in India, it will compete with the already-launched Xiaomi Mi 17 Ultra and Vivo’s upcoming camera flagship Find X9 Ultra.
