Shortly after Woods was arrested for driving under the influence on March 27, Woods pledged to get help. He shared his plans on social media on Tuesday.
“I will be taking some time away to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary as I prioritize my health and work toward a lasting recovery,” Woods said.
He added, “I am committed to taking the time to get back to a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support and ask that the privacy of my family, loved ones, and myself be protected at this time.”
