‘Use our tax dollars’: Kay Trump faces backlash after taking Secret Service agents shopping at ‘expensive’ grocery store in YouTube vlog

Kay Trump, the granddaughter of US President Donald Trump, has faced criticism after posting a video on her YouTube channel of a visit to a high-end grocery store in Los Angeles. In the video, the 18-year-old records a shopping trip to Erewhon Market, a luxury supermarket known for its high prices and specialty products. The vlog was originally titled “I took my agents to Erion,” but was later renamed “I Tried the World’s Most Expensive Grocery Store.”In the 19-minute video, Kay Trump browses the store’s merchandise and comments on the prices of several products. At one point, she joked that she was “going broke” after seeing a $165 price tag for an Erewhon-branded sweatshirt. The video also shows her purchasing several items, including $21 worth of smoothies and $10 worth of lemonade, before leaving the store. At the end of the vlog, she said the total cost of her groceries was $233.Kay Trump is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and the president’s eldest granddaughter. She has a large following online, with over 1.45 million subscribers on YouTube, where she posts lifestyle and golf-related videos. The video also shows her leaving the grocery store and traveling in a vehicle with Secret Service protection. U.S. Secret Service members are assigned to protect the president and certain immediate family members. Guards also form a protective perimeter for important family members. Kay Trump is also an aspiring professional golfer and makes money through golf-related endorsement and sponsorship deals. She reportedly earned over $1 million from such partnerships.

Social media reaction:

  • Our tax dollars will be used to allow her to take Secret Service agents to Erewhon’s vlog to buy overpriced groceries. Meanwhile, her pedophile grandpa is raising prices so people can’t buy a house, groceries, and now gas. We are living in the Hunger Games.
  • When American service members were killed in her grandfather’s war, Kay Trump bragged about having the taxpayer-funded Secret Service follow her while she shopped.
  • Anyone who says she might be better than her family…well, no.
  • I can’t wait for the next administration to cut off Secret Service for every Trump.
