Two men stabbed at Birmingham music festival as crowds told to leave venue

Emergency services rushed to the scene and the crowd was asked to leave the venue midway through the event.

The injured has been hospitalized for treatment and his injuries are not life-threatening.

According to West Midlands Police, both victims were taken to hospital for treatment. The event was suddenly canceled midway

The event was part of the ‘Cru2: Birmingham Shutdown’ carnival and was underway at the time of the incident. Attendees expressed confusion when announcements were made asking people to evacuate premises.A message displayed at the venue initially referred to the “incident” before directing guests to leave through the nearest exit. Organizers later canceled the after-party, citing unforeseen circumstances and promising ticket holders refunds or further communication.

No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
