According to the official White House schedule, trump card will depart from the White House for Charlottesville earlier in the day. The departure is listed under “public news,” allowing limited media coverage.
After completing his mission, the president was scheduled to leave Charlottesville that evening and return to Washington, D.C., under the “field travel pool,” indicating restricted media access on the return trip.
The centerpiece of Trump’s visit revolves around two back-to-back events related to MAGA Inc., both scheduled in Charlottesville.
Trump will attend MAGA Inc. meeting at 6:30 p.m.
He will participate in the MAGA Inc. Roundtable Dinner at 7:15 p.m.
According to a White House press release cited by WVIR, both events are labeled “media closed,” meaning no media access or live coverage is expected.
Other calendar data cited by Roll Call’s Factbase indicates the events are expected to take place at Trump Winery, a private venue owned by the Trump Organization.
The use of a controlled-access location, coupled with a closed media designation, suggests the gathering is for a limited, invitation-only audience.
