Two Pennsylvania firefighters died Monday in a head-on crash while searching for a missing woman, officials said.Fire Chief Jeff Buck and Assistant Fire Chief Robert Shick Jr. of the Walnut Township Fire Company were traveling north on Route 222 in a utility vehicle when they were struck by a southbound Toyota Camry around 6 p.m. Saturday, according to the Berks County Coroner.Local media reported that the utility vehicle was on the shoulder when the Camry swerved onto the road and struck the utility vehicle. A man and a woman in the car fled the scene but were later arrested, police said.The crash occurred about 45 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Autopsies on both victims, both Fleetwood residents, are scheduled for Monday.“Our condolences and prayers go out to the families of the victims,” the Walnut Township Fire Company said in a Facebook post. “Chiefs, rest assured, we got it from here.”Authorities have not released further details about the arrest or search for the missing woman.
