“We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Todd Morgan Meadows,” the fundraising page reads. “He was a much-loved father, son, brother and friend at 25 years old who was taken from us far too soon while doing what he loved – crabbing in Alaskan waters.”

“He was a committed father to his three amazing little boys who were his world. Everything he did was for them – their smiles, their futures and the memories they would carry.”

The fundraiser also talks about deep loss “This unimaginable loss has left his children without a father, his parents without a son, his siblings without a brother and his family shattered,” the statement continued. “We are raising funds to assist his three sons at this heartbreaking time, to help with funeral costs and to help ease the financial burden of the coming months. Any donation, no matter the amount, will be used directly to honor his life and ensure his sons are cared for in the way he wanted. If you are unable to donate, please pray for our family and keep his name as immortal as he wished.”
