Someone shared a photo Homer and Lisa Simpson Looking at the TV screen. “Trump is dead” read on the screen. The code below reads “Donald Trump 1946-2026”. It added that he “passed away on March 14, 2026.”

Given that today is March 14, some are concerned about the president’s health. “Will Simpson’s prediction come true? Let’s wait and see,” one person said.

Another added, “It says…Trump will die.” Another said, “Is The Simpsons really predicting something big will happen to Donald Trump on March 14, 2026?”

The alleged predictions about Trump come as the president engages in war with Iran. Just today, Trump announced a US military attack kharg islandwhich is Iran’s energy lifeline. The conflict began when the United States and Israel launched a joint attack that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Meanwhile, health concerns surrounding Trump persist. Many pointed to bruises on his hands and, more recently, a “rash” on his neck. However, the White House insists the president is in good health.

Donald Trump Simpsons predictions: Fact check

Although social media exaggerated the news that The Simpsons allegedly predicted Trump’s death, these claims were untrue. Readers on X added that images of Trump’s death shown on television as part of the show were artificially generated.

“This image is not from The Simpsons. It is a fabricated hoax and the show did not predict that Donald Trump would die on March 14, 2026. The showrunners confirmed that no such plot existed,” they wrote.

Grok also fact-checked these claims, explain “This is fake. The Simpsons image is doctored/AI-generated hoax material that never aired in any episode. Similar viral fakes have been circulating for years claiming Trump’s predictions. No real predictions, just meme bait for a slow news day. Trump is alive and well.”

Trump’s ‘Simpsons’ prediction was right

While the predictions currently going viral aren’t true, The Simpsons has made several accurate predictions when it comes to Trump.

In the episode “Bart Goes to the Future”, Lisa becomes president and mentions that she inherited “President Trump’s budget crunch”. A 2015 short film called “Trumptastic Voyage” shows the Trump 2024 background logo. The Simpsons got other things right, like Disney acquiring Fox.

However, it’s worth noting that the show doesn’t actually predict the future, but a few coincidences have quickly made it a pop culture claim to fame in this regard.
