His company reportedly received federal benefit funds, which prosecutors said were used for personal expenses, including a home valued at $1.4 million.
He faces money laundering chargestheft, wire fraud and conspiracy in a $77 million scandal, $3 million of which was allegedly tied to him. His trial began on January 7, 2026, with the judge refusing to dismiss the most serious charges.

After being acquitted, DiBiase Jr. said, “I believe they are right. I give all the glory to God. I give all the credit to my Lord and Savior, Sydney Rampton (attorney), Scott Gilbert (attorney), Eric Hershman (attorney). I thank them. They did a great job in portraying the truth.”
Ted DiBiase Jr’s wife, Kristen Tynes, works outside of the entertainment industry and is a nurse by profession.
According to Sunthe couple attended the same high school and eventually dated and married on October 30, 2008. They have two children, a son and a daughter.
Ted DiBiase Jr was born on November 8, 1982, to Ted DiBiase Sr and Melanie DiBiase. His father, Ted DiBiase Sr, was a famous wrestler known as the “Million Dollar Man” and wrestling was a family tradition.
He is a three-time WWE Tag Team Champion, often teaming up with Irwin R Schyster as part of Money Inc, and due to his success, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2010.
Ted DiBiase Jr trained with Chris Youngblood and Harley Race Wrestling Academy before joining WWE in 2007. That same year, he won the FCW Southern Heavyweight Championship.
He made his WWE debut in 2008, partnering with Cody Rhodes. Together they won the World Tag Team Championship twice. They later formed a band called “The Legacy” with Randy Orton.
After the group ended, he began competing on his own and won the million-dollar title from his father. He left WWE in 2013 to focus on his family and career, and officially retired from wrestling in 2020.
