The United States will compete on the first day of competition in curling, figure skating, ice hockey and snowboarding at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina on Saturday. The event starts early for US viewers, with multiple live and streaming broadcasts throughout the day.
According to official Olympic Games websiteTeam USA will feature prominently in several high-profile events on Saturday.

figure skating Reigning world champion Ilia Malinin will draw special attention in the men’s singles portion of the team competition. On the slopes, Oliver Martin won a medal for Team USA in the men’s snowboard giant air final, one of Saturday’s premier medal events.
The U.S. women’s hockey team opens the Olympics against Finland, a familiar opponent and perennial medal contender.
U.S. viewers can watch Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics NBCUniversal confirmed that the event will be broadcast live on NBC and will be available in full on Peacock.

NBC noted that Peacock’s Olympic Center allows fans to follow multiple events simultaneously and view instant replays and highlights.
