Multiple people were injured after a floor collapsed at Chocorua Sanctuary, a popular wedding venue in Tamworth, New Hampshire, according to reports.
Some people may also be trapped inside the building, according to a Carroll County, New Hampshire, scanner alert. About 145 people are believed to have been present, but the exact number has not been confirmed. The incident happened at 88 Philbrick Neighborhood Road around 5 p.m.
In a post on Facebook, Scanner Alert Group said, “The Tap House at Chocorua Reserve, 88 Philbrook Neighborhood Road, Tamworth, New Hampshire. During an event, part of the floor collapsed into the basement. 145 people were present. At least 10 ambulances have been requested to treat the injured. Some may still be trapped.”
Tamworth Police also issued a statement saying, “Multiple fire departments are attending the incident at 88 Philbrick Neighborhood Road. Please avoid the area and find alternative routes.”
