Hureira and Usman, both A+ category terrorists who have handled and directed about 40 foreign terrorists in J&K over the years and have been working together since 2023, traveled to Nuh and Mewat via Delhi at different times.So far, searches conducted at 19 locations in J&K, Rajasthan and Haryana have resulted in the detention or arrest of six OGWs in Haryana, four in Rajasthan and a dozen OGWs in J&K. Sources said the purpose of the multinational module was to create a Lashkar-e-Taiba network outside J&K with the help of Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Taiba contacts; and use it to set up hideouts for Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists and ultimately help them leave India with the help of forged documents arranged by the local OGW network. At least one Pakistani terrorist, Khar Ghosh, allegedly used forged identity and travel documents to escape from Rajasthan.The investigation also revealed LeT’s funding and financial model.More arrests are likely in the coming days, and investigators have not ruled out finding footprints in more states. The case is likely to be taken over by the NIA.
