Meanwhile, videos and photos of new fires in Valencia showing thick smoke have sparked concern among many.
One page shared multiple videos showing the fire from different angles. Black smoke could be seen rising into the air as the fire continued.
Someone else shared a video of a helicopter flying over the smoke. “Fire in Santa Clarita. Thank you to the Los Angeles County Fire Department for all you do and the firefighters out there!” they wrote.
However, it is unclear if this is an effort to put out the Cavalier Fire or if it is a new fire in Valencia. Another video not far away showed thick smoke rising into the air.
“Fire Santa Clarita,” the person wrote. The fire department has not officially commented on the fire. The cause of the fire is unclear.
Several people reacted to the fire near Valencia. One simply said “bum,” seemingly blaming homeless people. However, authorities did not clarify the cause of the fire. Others also appeared to blame the problem on homelessness, but there was no evidence of the cause of the fire.

“Nothing has changed in seven years,” one person commented. “Shocking… I can’t believe it’s washing,” another said. Santa Clarita’s William S. Hart Baseball and Softball Club also released a statement on the fire.
“We are aware that there is currently an active fire in the nearby wash area. The fire service is on scene and actively dealing with the situation. At this time, operations at the complex are continuing with no interruptions and there will be no immediate impact on residents. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates if there are any changes. Thank you for your patience,” they said.
The Knight Fire broke out in the Santa Clara Riverbed south of Bridgeport Lane, according to Watch Duty. The fire burned 1.5 acres but has stopped spreading.
WatchDuty’s report states that the fire initially measured 100 feet by 100 feet and was burning in heavy fuels deep within the washout.
