Patna: The Samrat Chaudhry-led NDA government in Bihar on Friday won a vote of confidence in the state Assembly.Chaudhry moved the motion during a one-day special session proposing that “the House of Representatives place confidence in the current Council of Ministers of the state”.
The motion was passed by voice vote in the 243-seat House of Representatives, in which the BJP-led NDA has an absolute majority of 202 seats.Chaudhry became the first BJP leader to lead the government in the state after JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar resigned earlier this month.
