Mumbai: To ensure uninterrupted in-flight catering services, railway Manthan K Mehta reports that the board has allowed the use of flameless cooking systems in pantries, allowing staff to prepare meals inside trains amid continued tight supply of LPG. In a letter dated March 12 to principal chief commercial managers and IRCTC CMDs of all railway zones, the Railway Board allowed flameless cooking in food compartments during emergencies but safety protocols must be strictly followed.
