Dennis noticed this clip while watching the movie with the audience. As the scene plays out, he reacts quickly to the sound of his own voice. He said, “That’s me! ‘I do, but I don’t mind’, that’s me! Two great ones.”He then shared how he was told how the clip was selected. At the same time, he made it clear that he wasn’t entirely sure about every detail. He said, “I don’t know what the truth is, but according to his team, he saw the clip… because our clip was so well done, it spread, and according to Adam Sandler’s team, he saw the clip and thought it was funny and wanted to use it specifically for this scene.”Dennis also spoke about his initial reaction when he received the email about the clip being used. At first he didn’t believe it. He explained, “I don’t know if that’s true. I don’t know what’s true. I don’t know anything… But when they sent the email, and I sent it to my management, I was like, ‘I don’t even think that’s true,’ and they were like, ‘Oh, it’s true, we’re going to give you money,’ two big bucks, and Fan and I, both.”The clip is from a Minecraft livestream and features two creators having a casual conversation. With the proper permission, this natural moment was eventually used in the film.
