I am extremely grateful to my teammates for their continued support and belief in me – none of this would be possible without them,” he added.Farhan also became the first batsman to score a double century in the men’s singles T20 World Cup, reaching triple figures against Namibia and Sri Lanka. He also partnered with Fakhar Zaman to score a record 176 runs, the highest among all wickets in T20Is, further underlining his dominance in the tournament.The award marks the first time Farhan has received the ICC Player of the Month honor, making him the first Pakistani male cricketer to win the award since Haris Rauf in November 2024.

Indian pacer Arundhati Reddy won the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award after her impressive performance in the T20I series in Australia.Reddy was the leading wicket-taker in the series, taking eight wickets in three games, including four in 22 balls, two in 30 balls and two in 35 balls, at an average of 10.87.“It is a great honor to be named the ICC Player of the Month and even more special knowing that I can contribute to Australia’s T20I series victory. Beating Australia at home is never easy, which makes this award even more meaningful,” Reddy said.
