Odisha Passenger Train Derailed: New Jalpaiguri-Chennai Central SF derailed near Jakapula News India

The New Jalpaiguri-Chennai Central Super Fast Express derailed near Jakapura station in Jajpur district of Odisha on its way to Howrah, Kolkata.PTI quoted railway officials as saying that the incident took place at 8:51 am and no casualties were reported. One AC coach and two general coaches of the train jumped off the track. Passengers have been properly accommodated and the cause of the derailment is under investigation.Bhadrak has sent a rescue team to the scene and response operations are underway.This is a development story
