Best reportedly claimed to be Jesus Christ before the shooting.Best was spotted pacing suspiciously near Northwest 17th Street before allegedly pulling out a revolver and firing multiple shots at police stationed near a checkpoint, the New York Post reported.The shooting occurred as U.S. President Donald Trump was conducting diplomatic discussions at the White House about Iran and a proposed peace framework involving several Middle Eastern countries.
