‘No need to panic’: PM Modi urges calm over energy crisis concerns, says country will overcome it like Covid-19

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Citizens on Wednesday urged not to panic over rumors of LPG shortage amid tensions in the Middle East and said India will overcome the situation, just like it did during the Covid-19 pandemic. He also launched a sharp attack on the ruling DMK, accusing the party of corruption and pursuing dynastic politics.Addressing poll rally in Tiruchirappalli tamil nadu, Prime Minister Modi The conflict has disrupted global energy supply chains, news agency PTI reported, calling on citizens to rely only on verified information.“Today, I want to address the West Asian conflict to the people of Tamil Nadu. It affects the entire world energy supply chain. We believe in India’s ideology first. There is no need to panic or pay attention to rumours. In any situation, we have seen that our government always puts India’s interest above everything else,” PM Modi said.“1.4 billion Indians have shown the world how mature our country has become during the pandemic. I am confident that as a nation, we will successfully navigate every situation,” the Prime Minister added.Prime Minister Narendra Modi also launched a blistering attack on the ruling DMK government in Tamil Nadu, accusing it of corruption, dynastic politics and failure to fulfill promises made in 2021.“Under DMK rule, everything starts with a family and ends with a family,” he claimed, adding, “Ministers may change, MLAs may change, but power still belongs to only one dynasty.”He further claimed that the party follows a “scientific pattern of corruption” and said, “Today, the same scientific pattern of corruption is being used to make Tamil Nadu an ATM for households.”Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister inaugurated projects worth Rs 5,650 crore and said that these projects will create thousands of employment opportunities for the youth of the state. He also emphasized on the development of infrastructure, including airport facilities at Madurai and Tiruchirappalli.
