Cannon shared his outspoken political views on a recent appearance on “The Big Drive,” a network talk show he hosts with Amber Rose, where he also praised Republicans for liberating enslaved people.

What did Nick Cannon say about Democrats?

On the latest episode of “Big Drive,” which aired Friday, the actor and rapper discussed amber rosehas recently switched to the Republican Party while sharing his thoughts on the country’s major political parties.

In the video, Cannon emphasized that the Republicans under Abraham Lincoln actually freed the slaves, while also noting the Democratic Party’s historical ties to the Ku Klux Klan.

He also agreed with Amber Rose, who said Democrats “don’t care about people of color, and Republicans do.”

“I agree with you 100 percent,” Cannon said. “People don’t know that the Democratic Party was the party of the Ku Klux Klan…People don’t know that the Republican Party was the party of freeing the slaves.”

TMZ reports that Democrats in the Reconstruction-era South were actually close to the Ku Klux Klan and resisted racial equality until the 1950s.

What did Cannon say to the president?

The impression Cannon gave during the interview was: Donald Trump fan. “NC says he likes President Donald Trump,” TMZ wrote.

TMZ further noted that after Trump said Heidi Klum was not “10,” Cannon called 47 a “bully” to highlight his past contrary stances toward the president.

In an interview with Ross, Cannon expressed his appreciation for Trump’s leadership, saying, “Mom is cleaning house” and “doing what he says he’s going to do.”

He further said, “We’re now in the Gulf of America. He’s like a club. He charges $5 million in bottle service fees to get into the country.”

However, Cannon also said in the interview that he “does not support either party” and cited WEB Du Bois’s view that “there are no two political parties.”
