I would like to assure you with complete honesty that my association with you will continue in the future too and my determination to work with you to build a developed Bihar will remain as unwavering as ever. The new government to be formed will have my full cooperation and guidance. “The post comes less than four months after Nitish led the National Democratic Alliance to a landslide victory in the Bihar polls. The veteran leader, who just turned 75, was sworn in for a record tenth term in November and is now set to move to the House of Commons.With Nitish joining the Upper House, the door has opened for the BJP to appoint its own chief minister of Bihar for the first time. According to leaders familiar with the discussions, Nitish will formally enter the upper house once the new term of the House of Representatives begins on April 9 after the outgoing members retire.
