Neodesha tornado: Tornado reported on ground moving east; PDS issues scary video warning for parts of Kansas

A tornado was reportedly spotted on the ground Sunday near Neodesha, Kansas, and was believed to be moving east.

“Neodesha Ks Tornado Warning. Ground moving east at 30 mph,” a local news page warned, sharing photos of the affected area.

Prior to this, the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Neodesha until 7:30 PM CDT.

One person commented: “Radar indicates PDS required.” However, the National Weather Service website did not initially show any PDS warnings for the area. National Weather Service notes Such warnings are issued “in rare circumstances when prolonged, intense and violent tornadoes are possible.”
