Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapper opened the door with a “flower pot”? New details emerge about smashed camera and lights

among Looking for Nancy GuthrieBroadcaster and podcaster Ashleigh Banfield said sources told her the would-be kidnappers used flower pots to prop open two back doors and a back door at the Tucson home. Banfield made the claim on the 58th day of the investigation.

on her “Drop Dead Serious” showBanfield noted that Savannah Guthrie twice said in an interview with Hoda Kotb on the “Today” show that two back doors were “opened.” “That sounds very different than the sources I have,” Banfield said, adding that her initial report was that the back door was “wide open” rather than just locked.

“So, this is a big, earth-shattering piece of information that I determined after speaking with several sources in law enforcement,” Banfield said, adding that a “very high-level source” told her that several security cameras and lights in the home were broken.

“We’re in pain. It’s unbearable,” Savannah said during the sit-down preview. “I wake up in the middle of the night, every night. In the dark, I imagine her fear. It’s unimaginable, but these thoughts need to be thought about. I won’t hide my face. But she needs to go home now.”

Nancy was last seen just before 10pm on January 31, when she had dinner with her daughter Anne and her son-in-law Tommaso Scioni. The name of the suspect in Nancy’s disappearance has not yet been released.
