Nancy Guthrie’s huge ransom revealed: Kidnappers want money before February 9

“Multiple extortion letters were sent to the media and one of them was sent to us,” said JJ McKinney of Tucson ABC affiliate KGUN9.

“In the letter, the would-be kidnappers demanded that the Guthrie family pay them $6 million by Monday.”

A heartfelt plea from Savannah Guthrie and siblings

In a heartfelt plea on Saturday night, Savannah Guthrie Her siblings – Anne and Camren – pleaded with the unidentified perpetrators for their mother’s safe return.

“We heard from you and we understand,” Savannah said on Instagram.

Sunday marked the eighth day of the intense search for Nancy, who was last seen on Jan. 31 during a dinner and game night at her daughter Anne’s residence.

On Saturday, law enforcement conducted another search warrant at Anne and Nancy’s Tucasson home.

Authorities have not disclosed the specific purpose of the operation or whether any items were recovered.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is ongoing and no suspects or persons of interest had been identified as of Saturday evening.

President Donald Trump claimed on Saturday that investigators were close to a breakthrough in the kidnapping case, telling reporters they had uncovered “very strong” leads and saying he believed “we’re going to have some answers soon.”
