Now, new reports outline some of the problems Annie Guthrie faces in her community, prompting the Sheriff’s Department to deploy more personnel there.
Because Guthrie’s disappearance has attracted so much attention, there has been a surge in online media and individual content creators in the area. Some of them also went to Anne’s neighbourhood.
The YouTuber has reportedly been marching and harassing people in her area of Tucson. News 4 Tucson KVOA report Guthrie’s neighbors “complained about a YouTuber harassing residents in the area.”
The Sheriff’s Office reportedly “confirmed they had received similar complaints from Guthrie’s daughter Anne regarding her neighborhood.” As a result, more officers are now patrolling the area.
Recently, a YouTuber posted a video outside of Anne and Sione’s home, where the latter allegedly said something along the lines of asking not to disturb. The anchor can be heard in the video saying they are moving out of the area.
The search for Guthrie continues. Her family is urging neighbors and others in the Tucson community to think back to Jan. 11, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 and recall if they witnessed anything unusual in the hope that new information may provide a much-needed break in the case.
The public is also asked to remain vigilant and avoid sending money to anyone claiming to be raising funds in connection with the kidnapping.
